Pawn Shop Entertainment presents the sophomore album from The Locksmiths, Boston's up and coming indie hip hop duo. Includes much introspective work such as the opening track, "Kind of Confused," which describes the plight of a young spiritually confused Tony, and "Dear Kristin," a poem written for his lover. Also includes several hard hitting tracks for the average hip hop head such as "Ninja Stars" featuring verses from Chris Sinn and Cozmos as well as Starr Cooper on violin, and "Newspeak," the heavy closing track inspired by George Orwell's 1984. Building on the experiences of their self titled debut, Cozmos and Mantis have expanded their sound and song writing to give each song an individual presence on the album while maintaining a cohesive feel throughout. This disc should please the old and new Locksmiths fans alike.
